Also, if I may pose a question, are there any guidelines for the powers the characters can have? I mean, are we talking controlling elements, telekinesis, morphing, shining weapons, candy, etc?

Your character is allowed to have any powers your heart desires! But each character is restricted to one and nobody can have the same powers as someone else. So the only ones taken are shadow manipulation and paralysis. ^^
